The Ultimate Fighting Championship's return to Sacramento is now official following the UFC Fight Night 285 weigh-ins. The main event of UFC Sacramento will see middleweight contender Anthony Hernandez take on tested veteran Gregory Rodrigues.

Rodrigues looks to get his first UFC main event victory. In his first octagon headliner, "Robocop" was stopped by Jared Cannonier at UFC Vegas 102 in February 2025. Since then, Rodrigues has gone 3-0, including a first-round knockout of Brunno Ferreira in their rematch at UFC 326 in March.
Hernandez received recognition for 50 clean tests under the UFC anti-doping program during media day before his main event against Gregory Rodrigues. The matchup changed when Hernandez replaced Sean Strickland in the UFC Sacramento headliner, and this week he tied that spotlight to his clean-testing milestone.
