Browns coach Todd Monken said Deshaun Watson "functioned at a high level" against the Bears in their preseason opener.

Monken effusively praised Watson's first live action coming off back-to-back Achilles surgeries. He was strip-sacked once when rookie right tackle Austin Barber got beat, and hit hard a couple of other times, but he shook it off and didn't flinch.
