Tomorrowland is heading into the future. Disney has announced a major overhaul of Disneyland‘s Tomorrowland, a section of the park with a fraught history of unrealized potential. The overhaul was confirmed by Chairman of Disney Experiences Thomas Mazloum at the D23 fan convention on August 15.

Walt Disney Imagineering provided updates on the Avatar themed land coming to Disney California Adventure and Disneyland’s reimagined Tomorrowland on Saturday, Aug. 15 during the Horizons: A Carousel of Progress showcase at the Honda Center as part of the D23 fan expo in Anaheim.
