Bob Iger is officially a legend within the Disney kingdom. We can't call it surprising that the media giant named its former CEO (twice over) to its hall of fame, but it's certainly fitting. Iger, 75,

Iron Man himself was among those paying tribute to the longtime Disney leader. “Mr. Iger’s primary quality is courage,” said Robert Downy Jr. from the stage. The actor cited Iger’s “bold choices” and said that he succeeded through “empowering people.”

The former Disney boss was honored alongside Anne Hathaway, Dwayne Johnson, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Jerry Bruckheimer at the D23 event.

D23 is known for Disney announcements and fan cosplay, but A-listers like Anne Hathaway also brought designer fashion to the event.

The Disney Legends ceremony will close out the streamed D23 schedule. The ceremony itself takes place earlier in the day at the Honda Center, at 1:30 p.m., before the streamed presentation airs at 6 p.m. This year's Disney Legends class includes Bob Iger, Dwayne Johnson and Lin-Manuel Miranda, with Ryan Seacrest serving as host.
