Federal investigators have pulled intact data cards from a state police helicopter and Cessna aircraft that collided near a runway in central Pennsylvania.

The pilot of a small plane was killed when it collided midair with a Pennsylvania State Police helicopter in south-central Pennsylvania on Wednesday, the authorities said.

The 55-year-old was among the seven deceased following an aircraft incident on Wednesday morning at Mt. Ololokwe in Samburu County, Kenya. NBC Nightly News anchor Tom Llamas and other journalists paid their respects.

The National Transportation Safety Board announced on social media that it will hold a second media briefing on its ongoing investigation into a collision at the Carlisle Regional Airport that left one pilot killed and two state troopers injured.
