Moderna and Merck’s mRNA cancer vaccine, combined with Keytruda, showed promise in preventing melanoma recurrence, according to the pharmaceutical companies. In a press release, they said the vaccine showed evidence of reducing the risk of cancer spreading and extending time without melanoma returning in a late-stage trial.
