Indianapolis officials urge evacuation near White River
City officials have advised residents and businesses near the White River to evacuate by 9:30 p.m. Friday to avoid being trapped by rising flood waters before the river is expected to crest on Saturday morning.
The White River in Anderson hit a new record high on Aug. 14. The river measured more than 24 feet deep.
