Iron Man himself was among those paying tribute to the longtime Disney leader. “Mr. Iger’s primary quality is courage,” said Robert Downy Jr. from the stage. The actor cited Iger’s “bold choices” and said that he succeeded through “empowering people.”

The tribute came as Bob Iger, 75, prepares for his next act after leaving the top job at Disney earlier this year and taking a new role following his acquisition of the Los Angeles Lakers.
