Aston Villa have confirmed the permanent signings of Atletico Madrid left-back Matteo Ruggeri and Parma goalkeeper Zion Suzuki. Ruggeri, who lifted the 2023-24 Europa League title with Atalanta, only joined Atletico Madrid on a five-year deal in July 2025.
